HISTORY
Dra-Surv, Inc. was created out of necessity when the mining industry collapsed in the 1980's. W. Clark Draper and Andrew Swestyn, Jr., Dra-Surv, Inc. owners, had been surveyors for several coal companies when the industry down-turn occurred.

Dra-Surv, Inc. was created out of necessity when the mining industry collapsed in the 1980's. W. Clark Draper and Andrew Swestyn, Jr., Dra-Surv, Inc. owners, had been surveyors for several coal companies when the industry down-turn occurred.
Dra-Surv, Inc. became a corporation in November, 1990, and over the years has been involved in numerous domestic surveys, as well as industrial work. Some of these projects include a test-hole project for Pennsylvania Mine Service and the re-surveying of over 500 old gas well surveys for a gas storage program for Equitrans, Inc.
The business continued to expand and now includes surveying, plotting, site design, and mapping-out in excess of 2,000 new gas wells and related services for various companies, including integration of mapping using GIS formats.
